“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.” Jesus in John 15:9

If ever there was a perfect love, it is the love of the Father for his Son Jesus.

Look at the love in the words below.

Look until your soul is anchored in God’s Father-love, then live bravely for His glory.

Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. Psalm 27:10

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. Psalm 68:5

As a father has compassion on his children,
    so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
  for he knows how we are formed,
    he remembers that we are dust.  Psalm 103:13-14

All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”  John 6:37,40

The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again.  No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”  John 10:17-18

I and the Father are one.  John 10:30
My Father will honor the one who serves me. John 12:26b
The one who loves me will be loved by my Father  John 14:21b

“Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”  John 14:23

“Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”  John 20:21
