“Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him.Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him.”Psalm 62:1,5
You don’t have to fix every problem and never rest. God’s gonna be there for you either way – whether you knock out your “to do” list or not.
You can live a slowed down spiritual life.
Take some deep breaths, speak the truth of God to yourself. Whatever is worrying you, give it to God. Whatever task is weighing on you, give it to God. Surrender it to him. Say, “Lord, I’ll simply do my best, with you, without hurry.” Father and child working side by side.
Relax into God’s peaceful goodness. Enter his sabbath rest.
Yes, my soul, find rest in God.
“Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.” Psalm 62:8
